I guess we will have to resurrect a fanny pack because
it is very difficult to look and keep up with your wallet
at the same time. Is theft really that much of a problem?

    • Matt McNeil on February 5, 2014 at 1:44 pm

      Ms. Hinkle:

At the Lippert sale, we had a great many antique slag glass lamps, all of which had large and fragile shades.

In short, our no purse policy at that sale was more about preventing breakage than theft.

And yes, theft IS a major problem, but that’s not the point.

I’ve only conducted three sales in fifteen years at which I’ve had a “no purse” policy, and they’ve all been in the last three years of fifteen.

Not to worry — we won’t be doing this very often.

We look forward to seeing you in Chickasha on 15 & 16 February!

      Best regards,
      Matt McNeil, ISA CAPP

BRAVO BETTY and LEO !!!!!! what a beautiful collection of light you leave behind —- how wonderful !!!!!…. I can imagine all the oohs and ahs you must have heard from the lucky people you shared them with —- but the best light comes from the pictures of both of you glowing with the love that you had for each other and that joy you passed along to friends and family. I am sure your collection will be treasured by the lucky ones who get to bring them home to cherish as much as you did. I am grateful to have seen these pictures and look forward to the chance of seeing them in person, thank you
