  1. LOVE NATIVE AMERICAN ART?
You’ll adore the Gatewood sale we have slated for the first weekend in June 2016!

Expect temperas, acrylics. oils, watercolors, gouaches, pastels, as well as lithographs, serigraphs, off-set prints, and other works on paper by Pottawatomi artist Woody Crumbo, Comanche artist George Smith “Woogie” Watchataker, Muscogee Creek/Seminole artist Fred Beaver, Muscogee Creek/Pawnee artist Lumhee Holot-Tee (a.k.a. Acee Blue Eagle), Creek/Seminole artist Jonny Hawk, Comanche-Kiowa artist Blackbear Bosin, Kiowa artist Sharron Ahtone Harjo, Seminole artist Enoch Kelly Haney, Comanche artist “Doc” Tate Nevaquayah, Pawnee Wichita artist Ba-Ta-Dee (a.k.a. Gerald Wayne Moore), Caddo/Delaware artist Raymond Kenneth “Buddy” Guy, Choctaw artist Doug Maytubbie, Cherokee artist Bert Seabourn, Cherokee artist Connie Seabourn-Ragan, Kiowa artist Stephen Mopope, and a great many other noted Native American artists from Oklahoma.

We’ll also have pottery pieces by Echota Cherokee potter Victoria McKinney, as well as baskets by the late Cherokee weavers Mavis Doering and Ella Blackbear.

There are a good many handmade ceremonial shawls in the sale as well, as well as fetishes, carvings, pots of all sizes, and much more.

Looking for gold jewelry and American coins? You’ll have come to the right place at 2029 NW 21st Street in Oklahoma City.

If you’re fond of the pottery of the late, nationally renowned Oklahoma City potter Montee Hoke (1928 – 1989), you’ll have a field day in this sale! (We have several large Hoke pieces, including pieces of Hoke’s signature raku work.)

You’ll find a wide selection of jewelry, including a great many pieces by well known Navajo, Hopi, and Zuni silversmiths.

The late Twenties bungalow itself will also be for sale (in “as is” condition, granted) — Gatewood specialist Carla Splaingard will have the listing. (No showings prior to sale, please. The real property itself will be sold “as is, where is.” It’ll be terrific opportunity for a real estate investor, or even an HGTV “DIY” enthusiast!)

See you the first weekend in June!

    Best regards,
    Matt

    • Dear Donna:

According to our e-mail tracking system, you haven’t received one of our campaigns since the one we sent out two weeks ago.

      I’ll personally forward you this weekend’s e-mail.

In the meantime, I see that you’re with gmail.
Please check your spam box — I think gmail calls it “Promotions.”

We’ll fix things right up for you!

Our next sale won’t be until mid-July, as we’re busily working trying to finish a kitching remodeling project at my home. (That I’m not yet a drinking man after weeks and weeks of contractors, electricians, plumbers, and drywall specialists traipsing through my home is nothing if not a testament to my sheer determination to get this project finished, honey.) 🙂

      See you soon.

      Fond regards,
      Matt McNeil, ISA CAPP
