Our next sale, the estate of Mrs. Sharon Sobol-Sheldon and the late Dr. Jack Sheldon, will be in northwest Oklahoma City on 18 and 19 November, 2017.

CLICK HERE TO SEE PREVIEW PICS.

(Sharon’s family was one of the first Jewish families to make the Land Run of 1889, and a small town in southeastern Oklahoma was named for Zayde Harry Sobol.)

Jack, a native of Newark, New Jersey, was a Borscht Belt entertainer who played with Lenny Bruce, as well as with Jackie Mason, Mel Tormé, Ella Fitzgerald, Sammy Davis Jr., Sarah Vaughan, Henny Youngman, Gilda Radner, Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gormé, and many other famous, mid-20th century entertainers from all walks of life.)

Expect fine jewelry and costume jewelry alike, Meissen porcelain, a wide selection of Rookwood pottery pieces (both production pieces and artist signed pieces alike), Weller pottery, Judaica, Steuben, Lalique, Daum, Murano, Mid Century Modern furniture and accessories, fine art, antique clocks, vintage vinyl GALORE, an exceptional quality French vitrine with marquetry work, and much, MUCH more.

The house is dinky, though, so be sure to GET THERE EARLY — or at least gird your loins if you DON’T get there early!

(OKCPD Officer Robert Varney will have to usher customers in in increments of twenty to thirty at a time in the first hour or two of each day of the sale.)

This will be a two-day sale, as there’s really not enough volume to merit a three-day sale. (That said, what we have to sell will more than make up for things.)

(It’s already ready, but we’re up against Bedlam and then TCU at Norman the first two weekends of the month. Yikes.)
We’ll post details here one week prior to the sale.

    Our Christmas sale this year?
A massive, three-day event in Glenbrook.

As always, we here at McNeil Liquidations – Estate Sales & Appraisals will keep you posted!
