a-9-768x311

The McNeil Liquidations team brings decades of knowledge and experience in the Oklahoma antiques business. Our owner, Matt, has been in the antiques trade since the age of nine, has owned an antiques business for many years and is an expert often featured on the local news.

Our team is comprised of hardworking professionals from a variety of backgrounds. Together, we are experts in managing estate liquidations, and offer efficient, professional services without forgetting the needs of our clients. We strive to minimize our clients’ stress throughout the entire process.

McNeil Liquidations was awarded the coveted “Best of The City” award from Slice magazine in 2014, and was the recipient of Angie’s List’s Super Service award for three years running.

Meet the Crew

matt

MATT

Matt is the owner of the company. He has an academic background in American history, and has been enmeshed in the world of art and antiques for over three and a half decades. When he’s not working (and that’s really rare!), Matt enjoys reading, gardening, and being with his two dogs, Stella (a rescued Rat Terrier), and Stewie (a rescued miniature Poodle).

robert

ROBERT

Officer Robert Varney, OKC Police Department, provides security for about 90% of our sales. Robert, a native of Maryland, is very happily married, has three children, and enjoys spending time at the lake when he’s not working.

bea

BEA

Bea’s hometown is Crescent. She’s very talented, and sings part time in a professional jazz quartet. Bea loves to entertain. Bea is widowed, and has one son and two grandchildren whom she adores. (P.S.: Bea does a spot on impersonation of Billie Holiday. Seriously. Downright UNCANNY.)

paul

PAUL

Paul’s from Independence, Missouri — “where the trails end and the buck stops.” He’s a no-nonsense Midwesterner transplanted to the Upper South. Paul likes spending time with his two dogs. He’s also an accomplished organist, and is proficient in American Sign Language and Signed English.

stephanie

STEPHANIE

Stephanie is native to Texas, but considers Oklahoma City home. She works as an executive legal assistant in aviation law during the week, and is considering returning to graduate school. She loves traveling, entertaining, and spending time with her Bichon Frisé, Solomon Paul.

ray

RAY

Ray (a.k.a. “Ray Ray”) is a Pennsylvania boy born and bred. He enjoys fly fishing, working like a dog, and spending time with his brother. You’ll usually find Ray working in the garage, barn, or outside at our estate sales.

tony

TONY

Edmond PD Officer Tony Newsom covers security at our Edmond and Deer Creek sales. He’s happily married, and enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his kids.

doug

DOUG

Doug is an OKC boy from birth. He’s one of our cashiers, and has a wicked sense of humor. Doug loves spending time with his grandkids, dancing, travel, cooking, and being with his partner, Dr. Mark.

sherri

SHERRI

Sherri, an OKC native, both tutors and proofreads when she’s not working estate sales on the weekends. Her academic background? English literature. Her favorite hobby? Fostering dogs for Homeward Bound, the official pug rescue for central Oklahoma.

john

JOHN

John’s from Norman. He works in the casino/gaming industry, and is the proud father of three very spoiled dogs. John and his partner, Kirk, collect vintage Disneyana, autographs, and almost anything related to Norman, OK history.

marty

MARTY

Marty’s hometown? Seiling. (Marty is our chief cashier on staff, and you’ll seldom see him when he’s not smiling.) Marty and his partner, Terry, have an entire bevy of the world’s cutest Chihuahuas. Marty also enjoys playing darts, drinking beer, and dancing. (Oh, and did we mention drinking beer?)

stephen

STEPHEN

Stephen’s originally from Wetumka, Oklahoma, but currently resides in Norman. He has two sons and two spoiled dogs: a French bulldog named Louis, and a miniature Schnauzer named Vallie. Stephen’s a proud member of the Choctaw Nation.

kirk

KIRK

Kirk, a Tulsan, is one our cashiers. Serious (but never dour), hard working, and thorough — everything you need in a cashier and nothing you don’t. Kirk and his partner of a quarter century, John, have three rescued dogs and a passion for O.S.U. football. Kirk has worked for decades for the Oklahoma Department of Commerce.

ann

ANN

Ann was born in Medicine Lodge, Kansas, but has spent most of her life in the Texas Panhandle and central Oklahoma. Ann was an antiques dealer in Perryton, Texas, for many years, but is now happily retired. She’s married to Garry, a Georgian, and has a pug named Miss Lola.
